Training Programs

A regular Wednesday conference at the ER Complex.

The department holds weekly academic conferences which includes case audits, and Morbidity and Mortality conferences.






The department handles medical students and interns from the UP College of Medicine as well as post-graduate interns, resident physicians and fellows from the Philippine General Hospital.

Student Rotations
Medical students from the UP College of Medicine (Year Level III or Integrated Clinical Clerkship and Year Level IV or Clinical Clerkship) and Medical Interns from the Philippine General Hospital (Year Level V or Internship, including PGI's or Post-Graduate Interns coming from other medical schools) rotate at the department. Residency Training Programs

A duly-accredited residency training program by the Philippine Board of Anesthesiologists (PBA), the department accepts up to 23 resident physicians per year.
